Helping them on what to expect in the program, How to schedule their classes, Where they could buy books and any other questions or concerns they may have.

APPLE DAYS

2017
Apple Days is an educational experience showcasing the health programs of the EACPHS.Â
Students of the Metro Detroit area are introduced to the professional health science programs through short, hands-on workshops, games, and other activities performed by faculty and EACPHS students to highlight actual skills performed in the professions.
C2 PIPELINE

2018
C2 Pipeline is a Michigan Department of Education funded program operating in fifteen Metro Detroit schools using hands-on, project-based learning activities with college and career readiness as the goal.
As a Pathology Assistant we presented a Lymphoma protocol, Touch preps with lymphnodes, A frozen section, Embedding and Microtomy. As well as presenting how a Pathologist would make a diagnoses using slides and different staining techniques.
MORTUARY SCIENCE OPEN HOUSE

2018
Guests were invited to tour the Mortuary Science building and learn about all the professions they study.
Promoted and fund-raised for the Mortuary Science Open House.
Organized volunteer's schedules to ensure the event ran smoothly.

WARRIOR DAY IN LANSING

2018
Participants travel to Lansing to meet in groups with their own Representative and/or Senator to discuss pressing legislative issues affecting higher education and WSU. Listening to presentations and updates from elected and other government officials throughout the day.
LIFE REMODELED

2018
With approximately $5 million invested each year Life Remodeled chooses one Detroit neighborhood to repair, remodel and beautify. Over six days more then 10,000 volunteers mobilized through 300 city blocks to remove debris, manicure overgrown landscaping and much more.
LIFESAVING SOCIETY

2010-Present
Hosting special events throughout the year to raise funds for the Lifesaving Society's Water Smart drowning prevention campaign. Fundraising events create awareness and get people involved in their communities.
