ABOUT ME
For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed being challenged and learning new things. My mom has always been very supportive of me and told me to find a career I love. I am very passionate about science and helping others so I tried to find something that would allow me to do both.

Upon graduating high school, I followed my passion for science and pursued a degree in chemistry. Towards the end of my degree I had the pleasure of shadowing a pathologist and his assistants. I quickly fell in love with the role of the pathologist's assistant.

Having found my dream job, I set out to do everything possible to achieve it. I worked towards earning my degree in biology. I also began searching for pathologists' assistant programs, which lead me to Wayne State University. I applied for the pathologists' assistant program and became a part of the Pathologists' Assistant Class of 2019.

Currently I am the president of my class and I couldn't be happier. I am in the second year of the program and appreciate every moment of my clinical rotations. I am proud of how far I have come and I look forward to achieving my goal of becoming a pathologist's assistant.
